The purpose of this study was to identify attitude about hepatitis B and knowledge degree on AIDS among dental hygiene students.
The study was conducted in order to present basic data of exacution professional job by analysing true value change of infection in dental office & school clinic laboratory. The subjects was recruited 307 dental hygiene students (lgrade: 103, 2grade: 108, 3grade: 96)from health college in chinju city from Sep.13 to Sep.20 in 1999 using questionnaires.
The results were as follows.

1. Age distribution was statistically significant relationship between day class and night class.(p < 0.001)
2. Hepatitis B vaccination & frequency Ixere higher in day class than night class(p< 0.05). the higher grade, the increaser vaccination frequency.
it was statistically significant(p< 0.01).
3. The increaser age, the higher recognition of hepatitis B antibody formation. It was statistically significant(p< 0.001).
4. The higher age & grade, the higher knowledge on AIDS.
It was statistically significant(p< 0.001).
5. Knowledge on AIDS was not significant relationship between day class and night class.
6. The more knowledge on AIDS, the higher recognition of hepatitis B antibody formation. It was statistically significant(p< 0.001).
